Getting ready to leave for Ohio!!!

A lot of you left comments wanting to know if the ring I got for Christmas from Mr. "S" was an engagement ring....nooooooooooooooo....it's just a ring...kind of like a promise ring but that sounds kind of childish to me!!! The engagement ring might come a little later! We aren't rushing into the whole marriage thing! We've both been there done that ("the marriage thing")!!! We do live together so we did kind of jump into that pretty fast...we also bought two lake lots and a CUTE little house...kind of jumped into that pretty fast too!!! =) lol Oh well...it is what it is and we are both happy...so we will just see where it takes us!!!

Okay...now on to our Ohio trip...WOO-WHO...my snow trip, our 2nd Christmas...just when you thought Christmas was over...IT'S NOT!!! At least not for us! We are doing Christmas with Mr. "S" family on Sunday...the forecast is showing snow...so I can actually say I had a "WHITE" Christmas this year!!! His family (mom, brother and sisters) actually put their Christmas on hold for us till we get there...is that not cool or what?!?! I feel sooooo special! We are sooooooooooooo excited!!! His mother makes a HUGE Christmas breakfast that is fit for a King!!! So I can't wait to actually be a part of this tradition!!! That is all everyone talks about!!! Christmas breakfast, Christmas Breakfast!!! =)

We leave for Ohio tomorrow after work! Ugh...the drive is going to be soooooooooo long and tiring! We are hoping to drive from 6:30pm till around 1am...stop and get a hotel...sleep till around 6am or 7am, eat breakfast and then drive allllllllllllllllll day Saturday!!! Mr. "S" is saying we should be at his moms by 7pm or 8pm Saturday night!!! Fingers crossed we don't run into any bad weather on the road!!! I pulled the trip up on mapquest and it's saying 19.5 hours....1204 miles!!! What in the world am I going to do with myself being pinned up in a car this long?!?! Go crazy! lol...wait...I'm already there!!!

I probably won't blog till we get back! So I'm signing off till after the New Year! =)

This has been such a wonderful, relaxing Christmas!!! I hope everyone else is feeling the same way!!! It's sooooooooooooooooooooooo stressful getting to this point but it's all worth it in the end!!!

I got everything that was on my Christmas list and MORE!!! =)

I had to share my Christmas morning with you!!! Here are a few things that Mr. "S" bought me!!!

He bought me a gift card to Buckle so I can go buy a pair of my FAVORITE jeans!!!

He bought me perfume...ummmmmmmmmmmm I'm going to smell sooooooo good...lol =)

He stuffed my stocking full of yummy goodies as well as this:

He bought me the James Avery charm bracelet (I've always wanted one) with a snowflake charm to represent my trip to Ohio...the first time I will see "REAL" snow!!! I can't wait...I'm so excited!!!

I got a few other things that he bought me...everything was sooooooooooooooo perfect, everything had such meaning! I couldn't have asked for a better Christmas!!! It's been a very enjoyable, relaxing day!!!

Busy week!

Well, it's been one crazy fast flying week that is for sure!!!

Monday night we met up with some friends that we went to high school with...we haven't seen or talked to them in 13 years...CRAZY...huh? What is even more crazy...they live less than 2 miles from us!!! We think the world is soooooooooo BIG but yet it is sooooooooo SMALL!!! Mr. "S" and Eric were such good friend growing up and they just lost touch over the years...Eric practically lived at Mr. "S" house growing up!!! Eric went off to college with his high school sweetheart now wife of 10 years =) and Mr. "S" left Texas to move back home to Ohio!!! Well, here we all are 13 years later!!! Eating Mexican food...YUM!!!!

Tuesday night we didn't have to much going on...we just wrapped gifts!

Wednesday night we met back up with Eric and his wife and another friend of ours from school! =) We went to a little local pub and had bar food and beer! We played shuffleboard...which is my absolutely FAVORITE game!!! =)

Last night Mr. "S" and I watched "The Grinch", I wrapped a few more presents and put together some really NICE picture frames from our Ohio trip in September...these will go in the hall way near our front door!

Tonight Mr. "S" and I are going shopping one last time tonight! At least I hope this is my LAST shopping trip till AFTER Christmas! Ugh...the traffic is CRAZY MAD...people are mean, rude and obnoxious!!!

Sunday afternoon we are hosting a Christmas party at our place...Woo-Who!!! I can't wait! It will be family and friends! We are going to the liquor store tonight, the grocery store tomorrow so I can start prepping veggie, cheese and meat trays, several different kinds of dips, cheese balls and some sweets! YUM!!! We are going to start the party around 3pm and keep going till whenever!!!

If yall have ANY ANY ANY cool decorating ideas and easy recipes or fun party ideas please, please....PLEASE email me!!!! I need all the help I can get!!!! =)

From "US" to "YOU & YOURS"

It's Monday & I wished it was still the weekend!!!

Well, it's Monday as most of you know...lol =)

Nothing really new in my world...just working and getting things ready for Christmas...still NO TREE =( At this point I really doubt we put one up!!! I did get a chance to wrap gifts this weekend! I still have some more shopping to do for Mr. "S"!!!

I couldn't sleep last night (bad dreams) so I got up with Mr. "S" this morning and went in to work an hour early!!! It really bothers me to have BAD dreams...I hate it when my dreams are soooooooo bad or sooooooooo real I can't fall back to sleep....then I get myself all worked up...it's just a mess!!! Well, that's enough talking about it...I don't want to think about it anymore!!!

Mr. "S" had his company Christmas party Friday night and we had a BLAST!!! Everyone at his company is sooooooooo nice...about 80% of the company is family and the rest of the people there are treated like family...it was a GREAT night!!! =) They gave him a SWEET Christmas bonus...more than we thought he would get since he has only been there for 2 1/2 months...we are very appreciative!!! We had a yummy dinner!!! Over all it was a awesome night!!!!

Saturday morning Mr. "S" got up and went Christmas shopping for me...I don't have a clue what he got me...part of me wants to tare his closet apart and the other part can't wait till Christmas morning! It's the kid in me...

I mailed out some Christmas cards today...I'm so proud of myself...I'm not proud of myself for leaving Frannie's package at home on the floor...lol...she knows how I am...it's not when it gets there....because it will get there!!! I'm mailing it tomorrow Frannie...it's coming via DHL!!!

Other than that Mr. "S" and I are going to dinner tonight with some OLD high school friends...yummy Mexican Food!!! This will be a FUN night!!!

I didn't get a single picture of us at dressed up for Mr. "S" company Christmas party! A few of his co-workers had their cameras so I still might have a picture to post later on!!!

TGIF - Tonight is the Christmas Party!!!

Just wanted to drop a few lines...I'm having a VERY BUSY day!!! Tell everyone HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

Tonight is Mr. "S" company Christmas party...WOO-WHO!!! Party time!!! It's nothing huge...just dinner and open bar...yes...I said...open bar...I won't go and make a fool out of myself...I promise!!!

Well, wish me luck...I hope what I picked out to wear work's out!!! I also hope my hair cooperates!!! =) I got a pedicure on my lunch hour today...my toes are soooooooooo cute!!! She did the tips in red and put some cute little stones and Christmas design...I love them...I've never got a design before but it was well worth it!!! My feet feel so good, soft and smooth!!! I absolutely LOVE getting pedicures!!!

Hopefully we will get some cute pictures of the two of us...if so I will post them tomorrow!!!!

Well, I better get back to work...I have a HUGE project I have to finish by 3pm today!!!

What are your BIG plans for the weekend?

I'm hoping to get a Christmas tree up...I've been tossing the idea around...do I really want to go pick out a tree, pull all y stuff out of storage??? It just seems like more trouble than it's worth!!! It's just the 2 of us! So I'm still thinking about it...I just don't know!

Mr. "S" is going shopping for my Christmas gifts on Saturday...
Me and a girlfriend are going to a craft show about an hour away so I can pick up a shirt I ordered and shop, shop, shop! I bought the shirt just for our trip to Ohio...it says "Let it Snow, Let it Snow" in cute sparkly glitter rhinestone thingies!!!

Sunday is NFL Sunday...yeah baby!!! Me and Mr. "S" will be going at it!!! My Cowboys play his sissy Eagles!!!

I'm back...sorry I was missing for 2 days!!! =)

A few of you might have wondered where I've been...
You might think I'm still trying to recover from my Monday all day shopping adventure!!! lol Well, that's not the case =) Even though I was REALLY REALLY wore out!!! I just haven't had anything interesting going on...it's been pretty dull around here!!! I've been trying to keep up with a lot of my favorite bloggers and post some comments!!! I love the blogs that have been posting the snow pictures...you know who you are!!! I've been keeping up with the ornament exchange and checking out every one's pretties!!! I'm still waiting on my ornament...I'm so excited to get it...whoever you are =) I can't wait to blog about it!!!

What is your favorite holiday and why?

My favorite holiday is Halloween! When I was a little girl (even up into high school) it was such a blast to dress up and go trick or treating! Now I have just as much fun with it...I have a TON of decorations...I have probably as many Halloween decorations as some of you might have Christmas decorations!!! I love dressing up, going to parties or downtown to the many different costume contest...you never know what you'll see!!!! Even though I didn't get to dress up this year...I will post a picture of me from 2006 Halloween! FUN FUN FUN times for sure!!! I also use to organize a haunted house in our little small town (where there is NOTHING to do) it gives the kid-o's a place to go and have fun!!! I wished I had some pics of that on my computer...we would set the haunted house up in our OLD fire department...the place was half falling down so that made it look haunted all by it's self!!! =)

Gee whiz did I have a L-O-N-G day....

I was out Christmas shopping with some girlfriends...I was out from 9:30am - 7:30pm...I'm sooooooooooo tired and my feet hurt so bad! I'm not much of a shopper so today was like a an all day affair for me...ugh...I'm wore out! So this is going to be a short post!

I did get something to wear to Mr. "S" company Christmas party...Woo-Who!!! =) So I'm ready for Friday night!

I also bought a black purse, black wallet, a few sweaters (not that I need them here in Texas) but I will need them for our trip to Ohio! Yahoooo...I can't wait to see the snow...some real Christmas weather!!!

I bought Mr. "S" two gifts...I can't say what they are because he has been reading my blogs! He thinks I'm kind of crazy because I chit chat with people I don't even know...he refers to yall as my "NEW" family...lol...it cracks me up...he says I talk to yall more than I talk to him =( Awwwwwwwwwww I guess he is feeling left-out? I guess I need to start paying a little more attention to him!!!

Okay "FAMILY" I'm off to bed with Mr. "S" so he doesn't feel so left-out!!!! lol

Our weekend...

Well, the weekend is almost over =(

This was a dull weekend...we didn't do much of nothing! Mr. "S" was very sick and I just sit around the house with him!!!

I went to the craft show Saturday and picked up my "FREE" candle from a monthly drawing (I was the October winner) I was a little late getting it, but that was all my fault...you can enter too...go here!!! I even got to pick my favorite flavor...Creme Brulee (A luscious vanilla and caramel delight)!!! I also purchased Christmas Splendor...I've had it burning all weekend...our apartment smells sooooooooooooooooo good and they burn soooooooooooooo even!!!! It's like Christmas in here without the Christmas tree...I know we are soooooooooo bad!!! Maybe we can get a tree this coming weekend!!!

I'm one game up on Mr. "S" in our football picks for week 14...woo-who go "J"!!! =) I'm soooooooooooooooo addicted! We still have Monday night football...he picked Atlanta and I picked New Orleans! So if Atlanta wins there will be a tie and it will come down to total points (both teams score combined) he took 41 and I took 40 the closest one wins!!!

I'm so excited...I took off work tomorrow to go Christmas shopping with a few of my girlfriends! I will have to control myself and not spend so much money...easier said than done! I'm really going to pick something out to wear to Mr. "S" company Christmas party on Friday night! Woo-Who party on!!!
