I just want to say THANKS to you all for the kind words, thoughtful emails and all your prayers!!!

Just a little update on my dermatologist appointment this past Tuesday ~ My doctor said the spot doesn't appear to be melanoma but she removed it and sent it to the lab!!! Now it's a waiting game!!! I'm should get my results in the next 10 days!!! I will keep you all posted!!! While I was there I had her look at some moles on my back that I can NOT stand! She marked me up and removed those as well!!! She is the best!!! It didn't even hurt!!! I figured the one on my underarm would hurt...NOPE...not at all!!! Her nurse Lilly is the best ever at giving shots!!!

Yesterday Mr. "S" and I went to the pumpkin patch to pick out the perfect carving pumpkin!!!! I can't wait to carve it tonight!!! =)

I've been Boooooooooooed!!!!!

My blog buddy Leigh at Tales From Bloggeritaville has Booed me just in time for Halloween!!! I love it!!! It's kind of like a "tag your it" game in blog world!!!

Keep me in your prayers....

Today at 10:15am I will be at the dermatologist to have a dark spot removed from under my arm!!! I don't even want to think about how bad this is going to hurt!!! UGH!!! I don't want to think about the shots in my underarm to deaden the area!!!! UGH!!! Can you tell I'm trying NOT to think about it!!! Yeah, right!!! I can't get it off my mind!!! Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers...I hope it doesn't come back as Melanoma!!!!

I was diagnosed with Melanoma Skin Caner back in December of 2006!!! I went to my dermatologist for a routine check up and there was this little bitty dinky dark mole on my stomach I wanted her to look at!!! Well, she removed it and 10 days later I get a call to come back into the office!!! I knew right then that something wasn't right!!! I've had a ton of moles removed over the years and I had never received a call asking me to come into the office right away!!! =( She had me back in the office a few days larter to make a cut about 2" around the dark spot in hopes she would removed all the melanoma! Which she did! Thankfully!!!

Today I'm just on edge! I've had this dark spot for a while now. I just kept putting off going to the doctor! I know, I know...I should have went in right away! I know!

Just keep me in your thoughts and prayers! I pray that it comes back benign (non-cancerous)! It will take about 10 days to get my biopsy results back! I will keep you posted!!!

Wonderful Weekend!

Saturday morning we woke up, jumped on the GOLF CART (Kristin) and hit up the garage sales in our neighborhood! It was a lot of fun! Mr. "S" and I were able to meet some of our neighbor's! I didn't take pics of our great finds but this is list of what we bought:

Snowman Ornament ~ $ .25 (all my Christmas decorations are snowman, snowman, snowman)

Mr. "S" bought a VCR with remote ~ $5.00 (he has a TON of VHS tapes and no VCR)

Cutting Board with a pull out drawer with a NEW set of cutting knives ~ $4.00 (we really needed some new knives)

A very OLD Sherlock Holmes book back from the late 1800's - early 1900's ~ $1.00 (it just looked cool)

Mr. "S" bought a Houston Texans flag ~ $ .50 (who knows why)

Storage Bins with 3 pull out drawers very big and very nice ~ $10.00 (I'm going to use this to store my socks and t-shirts - we need all the storage space we can get)

Saturday afternoon we had some major plumbing problems! Mr. "S" was outside washing his truck and the water spicket broke off at the main line! UGH! This was not good! Dirt ran into our main line! We were without water for a little while! Needless to say we missed Byron's b-day party! We still made it to Patience's party and we had a blast!!!

Did you notice my Tricker Treat t-shirt? It's one of the $4.99 t-shirts I bought on Friday!

Yesterday Mr. "S" and I weren't feeling to hot? I don't think the late night party, dancing, loud music, bon fire, yummy food, drinks in metal cans had anything to do with it?!?!? HA!

Dad came over yesterday to help us install the ceiling fans Shane (Mr. "S" brother) bought for us! Click HERE to check them out! They are sooooooooo cool! They are remote control fans and lights! No strings hanging down! We love them! Thank you Shane!

I watched the Dallas Cowboys game...YIPPEE...they won!!! It's so nice having TV again!!!

Other than that! We did a whole lot of nothing!

Well, whatever...I will just tell you!

We got TV yesterday!!! YIPPEE!!!

But first I had to kick the cable guy to the curb and call Direct TV out!!! We've waited on the cable guy since September 24th (what a freaking joke) - they finally determine we can get service thanks to a "service ability test" they preformed - HA - what a joke! They show up to tell me we are on the end of a loop (whatever the heck that is)? He told me IF he were to hook it up we would get a bad reception! (I personally don't think he wanted to do the job) UGH! So, I just told him NOT to bother I would call the local Direct TV guys! I'm soooooooooooo thankful I did! We should have done this a month ago! I called them at 10am yesterday morning and they were mounting the satellite to our roof at noon - that is what you call customer service! As of yesterday around 1pm I was watching TV! =) The downside to this is - we won't have Internet at the house! We have two options! Get a wireless card and pay out the rear end or call the local cable company back out for Internet? I haven't made a decision!!!!

I went shopping on my lunch hour today and bought a few of these really CUTE t-shirts ($4.99 each) for Halloween! Yall know I'm a NUT when it comes to Halloween!!! I have my buddy Danielle on a t-shirt mission today (she's off work) to find me the one on the end that says 31 - it looks like a jersey! Toooooooo CUTE!

As far as my Halloween costume this is what I *might* be dressing up as:

Mr. "S" is going as a Priest! I think we will look CUTE together! If I can't find *my size* in the above costume I will wear the one that I wore two years ago! Plus it will save me a few $$$!

Tonight... (YIPPEE IT'S FRIDAY)

Nothing much is going on! I'm sure we'll build a fire and sit outside and enjoy the cold weather! I bought some marshmallows - I'm thinking roasted marshmallows for dessert!

Tomorrow...(SATURDAY)

There is A LOT going on! Our subdivision is having a garage sale! I can't wait to wake up jump on Pop's golf cart and go garage-selling! Who knows what I will find? Last year I got a really cute fish platter all clear glass!!! (Thanks Danielle)!!! Danielle's mom found some really old books from the early 1900's! That was really cool!!!

Oh guess what? I found my battery charger yesterday while I was at home waiting on the cable guys I was digging through boxes! =) YIPPEE!! So I will have a picture post for yall on Monday!!!

Okay, back to Saturday! I have two parties to attend!

Musings from "Left Field" =)

Yeah okay, so maybe you don't care that I'm a baseball freak!!!! That I love a man in a baseball uniform!!! I know TMI...I don't need to tell you about our roll play fun!!! Roll playing? What is that? We don't have time for any of that! We work all day, come home, eat dinner, shower and go to "SLEEP" because we are tired and wore out from out L-O-N-G days!!! We sooooooooooooo look forward to our weekends!!!

Talking about weekends let me recap last weekend:

Friday night we went over to Pop's (Mr. "S" dad) house to hang out for a little while! We sat around the fire pit and recapped our week, talked about the weekend ahead and then got into politics and the economy! After that Mr. "S" and I went home and made a fire of our on in our fire pit! We sat outside and watched the shooting stars!!! I'm not kidding...we really did that!!! We still do NOT have cable or Internet so what's the point on going inside staring at the tv when you have a sky full of glittering stars you can sit and stare at?

Saturday morning we cleaned up around the yard, walked down to our mail box, I road my bike around the loop hit a small hill and I was done (it wore me out...I'm sooooooooo freaking out of shape...it's sad)!!! I went home and jumped in the shower and waited on Danielle and her mom to come pick me up!!! It was a total girls day!!! The girls were headed for Trade Days!!! It's a once a month craft show/flea market in our town!!! Once we got there we met up with Mona and Aubrey (they are some SLOW shoppers)!!! I think we lapped them like five times (just kidding Mona)!!! I didn't buy much - just some wonderful delicious pumpkin nut fudge and some chocolate peanut butter fudge for Mr. "S" (because that is he favorite)! I also bought a homemade squirrel feeder made out of old barn siding!!! I'm hoping to get some friendly varmints in the yard so I can take pictures for Lisa!!! (I will keep you posted on that)!!! I bought some homemade sauce from this guy called Texas Ranch - it's a very yummy bbq sauce!!! I'm going back in November if your a bbq sauce lover I will pick up some up!!! I think I'm going to grill some pork chops and chicken and sauce them up with the Texas Ranch! YUMMERS!!! The last thing I bought was this really cool lid thing that snaps on a coke/beer can!!! Sunday my friend Courtney and her hubby Jason came over! The boys went to play gold and Courtney and I went shopping! I have to tell you about the ROCKIN great deal I got on two really nice items - black capri's with a belt and a pair of black cuffed long shorts - $4.97 each! Wow! It was an end of the season sale! I think the original price was $58 for the capri's and $40 for the shorts! What a steal of a deal! Courtney and I went back to the house to get dinner ready - we knew the boys were going to come home starving! We grilled chicken and beef fajitas with all the fixings (grilled onions and bell peppers) - chips and cheese dip, sour cream, fresh pico de gallo, grated cheese, flour tortillas and refried beans!!! YUMMY!!!

That concludes our weekend! Nothing real exciting! Just an enjoyable relaxing weekend!!!

Monday was my dad's birthday! Mr. "S" and I celebrated with him at Los Cucos Mexican Restaurant! We bought dad a THIS CAMERA - (Spy Game 4.0) that will take pictures of the deer coming in his backyard at night!!! He said he has a BIG BUCK he has been feeding!!! We also bought him German Chocolate Cake that was absolutely yummy!!! It was a fun night!!!

I would have taken pictures of the Trade Days and dad's birthday but I still can not find my battery charger for my camera! UGH!!! I still have a few more boxes to unpack...I hope it's in one of them!!! I need a new camera so bad...I might just break down and go shopping for one!!!

Today after work Danielle and I are going shopping for our Halloween costume! If you don't really know me you need to know that I go crazy over Halloween! I love it! I love getting dressed up...yeah back to the roll playing story...okay...whatever!!! I love the parties, I love the decorations (even though I didn't decorate the house this year - it would have been to much trying to move, unpack, work on the house and decorate)!!! I need help...

I need help yall!!! Which yall already knew that!!! HA-HA!!! Whatever...just keep on reading!!!

I want your opinion on what "I" can do to be a better half to Mr. "S"! I know yall don't know our ends and outs on a day to day basis! I just need some pre-marital tips or something? Plus, yall are WAY better than paying for counseling!!!

I think that we (and a lot of other couples) let life pass us by in our everyday routines and we don't show our better half the affection/love they need and vice versa! I just want your input! Maybe it's something that works for you and your honey? What are some things that I can keep in mind as a daily reminder to help us make each and everyday of our life special!!! Now, I don't live in fairytale land so I know not everyday is going to be perfect!!!

Some Examples I've thought of:
Don't go to bad mad!
Kiss and make up!
Little things like this!

I don't want Mr. "S" thinking I take him for granted! I don't want to feel like I'm being taken for granted! I always catch myself pointing fingers and that is NOT the way to resolve an issue! I need help!!! So write a sentence, write a paragraph, write me a chapter or write a book! I don't care! I just want your thoughts, your tips, your stories!!! Help a girlfriend out!!! I want tips to carry on with me throughout my life to make me a better half!!!

I can't wait to hear yalls tips, advise and stories so keep them coming!!! I'm going to leave this post up till Monday so let me have it girls!!! I'm all ears!!!

Monday night dinner...

Mr. "S" and I stopped in town to grab some McDonald's before heading home! Yeah, McDonald's ~ that is sooooooooooooo NOT healthy!!! I know and I wonder why I can't lose weight!!! I did cut back to a Happy Meal instead of a Value Meal!!! =)

Back to my story...

We get home each night around sunset! We always have a bet if the sun will be up or down when we go over the hill to turn into our subdivision!!! Well, the sun was still up so we parked at the public boat ramp and ate our McDonald's dinner and watched this:

The pictures were taken with my camera phone so they aren't soooooo great! Sorry! You get the point! It was a romantic McDonalds dinner at the public boat dock!!!!

We are going to be sooooo sad when the time changes! We will be getting home at dark ~ booooooooo!!! We will miss this spectacular sunset! It makes the L-O-N-G drive worth it ~ each and every night!!!

Well, I don't know if you would call it random but it was defiantly an act of kindness!!!! I have to say it was soooooooooooooo kind of my mom, dad, brother, Danielle and Mr. "S" family to help us get where we are today..."IN OUR 1st HOUSE"!!!! I could go on and on and on with a list but I will spare you the details!!! If you have been reading long enough you know my dad worked at our house each and every weekend along side of us!!! This past weekend was Shane's (Mr. "S" brother) birthday - you would think he would be the one receiving gifts that day - instead he shows up with a grill (with a sink, bread warmer and a side burner), new grill cover and two ceiling fans with remote controls!!! It was his birthday and you would have though it was ours with the gifts he came baring!!!! We are soooooooooooooooooooo grateful of our friends and family!!!! They have helped us get where we are today!!!!

I feel I haven't been very many places?!?!? A few of the states were just drive-by's! Such as Tennessee, Arkansas and Kentucky - We hit these last year on our road trip to Ohio!

Other drive-by's include my road trips with an "S" to Atlanta to see my BFF - Giants Fan! Those states were Alabama and Mississippi!

I also went to Branson, Missouri several years back! Those drive-by states were Oklahoma (going there) and Arkansas (On the way home)!

If I had to pick two states to fly to - I would have to say Hawaii and New York!

Hawaii for the relaxing tropical feel - for the beaches, the luau, the pineapples, the fruity drinks, the hog roast, the beautiful flowers, waterfalls, a lei...I could go on and on....

New York for the CITY THAT NEVER SLEEPS for the street lights, time square, the memorial of the twin towers, the Statue of Liberty, for "real" Italian food, a Yankees baseball game, a real Irish pub, shopping, central park, Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, The Today's Show, Emeril Live...trust me...I could go on and on and on but I will save you the details!

If you could revisit one city/state where and why? I would LOVE to go back to Vegas - this time I would go with Mr. "S" - I just know we would have a blast!!!! There is sooooooooooooo much to see and do there!!!

Okay, this is my brother John trying to out do me and Regan! Um, It's NOT gonna happen!

Me and Regan - If you could only see that BIG limb behind us! Let me just tell you a little story about that limb! Regan is a trainer (as if you can't tell with that smokin hot body) - Me, Regan and Danielle went on a gold cart ride in search for a BIG limb to bring back for the fire (because that is what we do when it gets late at night and we have noting else better to do)! Oh yeah, there is still all this wood piled up on the side of the road from "IKE"! Okay back to the story...we found this HUGE limb and we tried to fit it on the golf cart...we just couldn't get it to ride - plus it almost buckled the whole roof - NOT COOL! So Regan and I get back and decide we are going to walk down and get it! We are both in flip flops dragging this limb that was about 20 foot long...it was HUGE!

We had one heck of a night!!! It was all about good times, good friends/family, good food, good drinks, lots of laughs and a GREAT fire!!!!!

Yesterday we recovered from the party! We were wore out! Plus I was sore thanks to trainer Regan and the boot camp BIG limb workout she game me!!! Mr. "S" and I just laid around and watched movies all day! We wished we could have watched football but we still don't have cable! =( I'm sad to hear my Cowboy's lost in overtime plus Romo has a broke pinkie finger! He will be out for 4 weeks! =( Booooooooooo-Whoooooooooo!
