Jibberjabber.......

I have been neglecting my blog something awful! I've also been neglecting my bloggy friends! Please be patient with me...I'm so swamped at work, at home and at my part-time job! It just seems there aren't enough hours in the day!

I still have a TON of cruise pictures to blog about!
I wanted to do a small post on each port we stopped at which was Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Cozumel! So be on the look out for those pictures!

I started my part time job last weekend! Well, actually I started it a while back bu this weekend was the first weekend I was on the floor as a cashier. They threw me to the wolves - they put me down in lumber on the contractors end. Wow-Wee was I ever wore out when I got home! I worked 10-7 on Saturday and 9-6 on Sunday! This weekend I work 1-10 and 10-7! I'm excited about the 1-10 - that means I get to sleep in - for once in forever!!!

I have some WONDERFUL news! I'm soooooooooooooooo excited I actually WON something in bloggy land!!! =) I haven't won anything in long. long, long time!!! Do you remember me blogging about my friend Kristin's giveaway? She was excited about her 500th post so she was giving away a $25 Target Gift Card! I entered and WON!!!! Target has some GREAT spring and summer clothes, a huge selection of flip flops PLUS Mr. "S" and I are registered there for our wedding. So there might just be something on the list that I don't get - that I really need!!! We'll just have to wait and see how I spend it!!! Thank you soooooooooooooooooooo much Kristin!!!!! You made my day/week!!!!

One more exciting thing! We are FINALLY going to get Internet at home!!! We haven't had Internet since September. It hasn't been a big deal to me - to have it or not to have it. I'm at work an hour early each morning and an hour late each day - so I get some surfing in. I will say that it's been hard these last few weeks because I'm been so so so soooooooooooooooooo busy at work since they laid Courtney off. I don't have time for anything. That is why my blog reading, commenting and posting has dropped to NOTHING lately! =( We are excited!!!

I hope everyone is doing well! I miss you all and as soon as I can I promise I will get over to your blog and get caught up!

A Few Days At Sea!

Pool Bar - Again!!! This is me Monday after a 5 hour nap! I got motion sickness Monday morning after breakfast!!! I didn't feel like I was going to throw up...I just felt like I was going to pass out!!! They were working on the ship and boy was it ever rocking!!! People that have cruised before said they have never felt rocking like that!!! Needless to say - I was better that afternoon and I was ready to PARTY!!!!

Mamarazzi's Favorite Things Swap

I was part of the Mamarazzi's Favorite Things Swap hosted by Miss Hollee-Ann over at Dandelion Wishes!!! And it was a total blast!!! My swap partner was Beka over at Monkeys ARDently In Sinc!!! I love getting mail/packages, I love meeting swap partners and that is just what the Mamarazzi's Favorite Things Swap was all about!!!

I was soooooooooooooooooooooo EXCITED to get my package before I left for the wedding!!!! Thank you Beka for shipping it early!!!! You ROCK!!! Sorry I'm just now blogging about it!!!! Life has been a little crazy busy around here!!!!

So here is all my goodies!!! I already see something I love love love - do you see it too??? It's the M&M's!!! I can already tell that Beka and I have something in common!!! I could tell that by the emails we were sending back and forth!!!

I've already been using the yummy chap stick!!! I ate the M&M's the minute I opened the box and took this picture!!! HA!!! Oh and I ate the Skor bar too - it was pre-wedding nerves!!! Beka sent me a bottle of her favorite fragrance from Mary Kay - I've never smelt it but I really like and Beka said she has been wearing it for years!!!

A Sad Day At the Office!!!!!!

It's a very sad day as I walk into the office this morning!!!!
My BFF Courtney was laid off yesterday!!!!
This came very unexpected to us!!!!
Even though we knew deep down in side how slow our office has become!!!!
The tears flooded out as it became real!!!
It hurts to even think about it!!!!
We (Her and I) made work "FUN" - "TOGETHER"!!!!
I don't know what I'm going to do without her???
I don't even want to walk past her desk!!!!
I'm just sick to my stomach!!!!

Courtney and I go way back!!!!
Back as far as Jr. High and High School!!!!
We grew up together!!!!
I got her the job here back in November of 1999!!!!
I feel partially responsible!!!!
She has a little girl that is turning 4 - April 1st!!!!
She has been planning her birthday party!!!!
Mom and I are going to take Courtney groceries next week!!!! That is the least we can do!!!! I can't imagine not having my job here - even though I know it could have been me in her shoes!!!! Her husband works but his company has been very very slow and they have cut his hours way back!!!!

There are some positives here!!!!
She will get to be home with her daughter!!!!
She has always wanted to go work at the school so maybe this is her opportunity to get in with the school district next year as her daughter starts Pre-K. They always say when one door shuts another door opens!!!! I pray to God this is the case for Courtney!!!! I pray for God to give her strength and not let her get down on herself!!!!

Please say a little prayer for my BFF Courtney!!!! I know she needs it!!!!

Work has now put me back to 5 days a week!!!! I was supposed to start working the registers at Lowe's this Friday, Saturday and Sunday (as my part-time job)!!!! I have to call Lowe's this morning to see if they can use me just on the weekends!!!! I hope they can - I would still like the extra money to help pay off my credit cards from all the excessive shopping I did before and during the cruise!!!! I will update on this tomorrow!!! For now I must prepare myself for a L-O-N-G hard day of work!!!!

I'm sorry - no wedding/cruise post or pictures today!!!! I just can't do it!!!! More to come later in the week!!!! I have a TON of cruise pictures so prepare yourself!!!! I hope I don't put my blog in shock with overload!!!!

Tears of Joy!!!!

I can't thank Courtney enough for this poem! I had NO idea she was doing this! She wasn't able to make it to the wedding so she wrote this poem, snuck into my email at work and sent it to the wedding planner without me knowing!!! Jasmin (the wedding planner) read it to me as if it was Courtney standing there with me!!! It was such an emotion moment!!!
